we made club sandwiches tonight for dinner. and i learned that my smoke detectors are sensitive and nate learned that they are "the most annoying smoke detectors ever."
don't mind the enormous skewers. a proper club needs them to hold it all together. and i was so frazzled from the smoke alarm i forgot my plan was to string all the fourths on to a single one. the upside to this story is that i have a handsome boyfriend to distract from the enormous skewers in this picture.
i know i always talk about this guy's good looks but there is really more to him than just that i promise.
like how he participates in all my experiments. last week nate let me do my at-home-microdermabrasion to his face. good news is: he loved it. bad news is: the picture of him with the goo all over his face got lost when my phone died and never came back to life last week.
he is fighting a cold so he tried the neti pot tonight. and had mixed feelings about it. even the drowning feeling it gave him didn't deter him from watching out for me. he waterfall-ed water into his mouth from my water bottle so i wouldn't catch his germs. and then kissed me goodnight.
