these women are three of the most loving + giving + wise women i have ever met. and we had fun chatting all night long. jesse and i were spoiled getting to hang all by ourselves with just them three. such. a. treat. i could sit for days and listen to all their many stories and adventures.

brag much?

our salon made over a few pages of this months allure. that was a very long day in the salon. and victoria- the colorist i assist was named one of their top recommended colorists in the nation. she even got her picture printed in the november issue. and even though she is used to this kind of attention, it's still a good reason to celebrate! hip hip vic! i just love you so much!

i've gotten that i reminded multiple people of summer before but i always just thought it was the bangs or something. until 
he said 'have you seen that movie...' and 
i said 'yes, i love it. sometimes though, people tell me i remind them of her which is weird because i am not a hater of love and commitment' to which 
he replied, 'you are a lover of hate and commitment. but that doesn't mean we like you any less'
in my defense- i love love. and i like commitment. and most importantly- i love her bangs. 
and then we sipped hot chocolate with stale marshmallows while watching the city lights glow in the dark. 
which then made me wonder? was he teasing about me being a summer? or was he really a believer of love and trying to convert me into one too?

remember that time you left a single sunflower by my doorstep? with a tag + my name handwritten on it? it took me weeks to find out who you were, and once i did my bf did not like it one bit. well, thanks. i forgot to say it. but i meant to cause it was real nice. 

the next day my bf bought me a whole bouquet.

he said, 'you look great in them... standing still' and another he on another occasion said, 'uh...' flats are spilling out of my closet and are worn and ragged and i love them. and my heels sit real pretty in perfect condition. i love them. looking at them. when i slip them on my toes i still love them. and then i start to move my feet... 

this year i am going to learn to walk in heels.
