i lost my phone and was looking ALL over my little apartment tonight! i was getting a kinda frustrated since i was running late for dinner with a friend and well, there is just not too many places to search in this tiny place! no luck. so i left anyways and my friend and i found each other, phew. when i got home my roommate greeted me with my phone in hand... it was in the fridge. awesome. welcome to my life. ps. isn't this fridge the cutest thing ever? when i get my new place this spring i think i'm going to have to find cute wallpaper and be a copy-cat.

i boarded airplanes seven times in december and when i finally landed back in new york city my stomach felt like it was full of glitter and helium! i just love it here. all the chaos is comforting and i miss it all when i'm not around. to the west coast it always seems to shock them or be so foreign or weird. i don't ever bring up that i'm from the city for this reason. it always comes up and don't get me wrong, i never mind. i am really excited about all my goals and accomplishments. i've worked really hard to be where i am and to be doing what i am doing. new york city is so good to me, by far the best bf i've ever had. i belong here. vacation is always refreshing no matter where you live and coming home is always the best. 

unpacking is not fun. does anyone like it? and coming home after been gone for a long time and having NO food too. i bought milk on my way home last night at the corner store and then woke up from my nap after church to find out all my cereal had been eaten. don't you love roommates? i decided i was going to steal to get back at them- it's really the mature thing to do, and was quickly reminded they have bad taste. the only thing i could find that sounded tasty was cookie dough. so i took a spoonful and now i'm off to buy some good food, another thing to love about the city- there is good food on every corner. don't worry new york i will never cheat on you again.

now that the holidays are over, cold is completely unacceptable. spring please come soon. so we can watch the flowers bloom in the park and soak up all the sunshine in cute suits.
