carli's last basketball game was on wednesday last week and i could not believe i was missing her whole season so... i booked a flight and flew to vegas to surprise her.
i don't wonder how so many wonderful things can be squished into such a short amount of time, i am just grateful they do. living hundreds of miles from family isn't always easy but on the upside it does make me treasure
every minute i am home and make for memories i will hold with me always.
highlights: airport welcome home+goodbye hugs from dad. lunch date with g. dinner with my aunts and uncles. truffle making and bunco playing and girl talk with all the nelson girls. basketball games starring carli. sticky peanut butter and car dancing with erica. falling asleep on the couch with dad+the olympics at night. chad talk. lunch, shopping and life chats with aleda.
i hopped off the redeye flight and went straight from the cab to work then out to dinner and a show with friends, passed out and was up for 9 am church sunday and hosted a dinner party that night.
musta been so busy i only ended up with one picture in the whole two days! i'll be better next time.
